Benjamin Worden

Benjamin Michael Worden was born on July 6 (same day as His Holiness the Dalai Lama) in Oregon and grew up in Orange County, California.  ’The Way of the Bodhisattva’ by Master Shantideva was the first Dharma book that radically shifted his life and led to his first meeting with HH Dalai Lama during a teaching in June of ’97.

After that teaching he knew he had to find a Master Teacher to learn all of the details about the path to enlightenment.  So he went to Santa Cruz, CA and studied with Lama Zopa Rinpoche and many of the highest yogis and scholars of Tibetan Buddhism including, HH Dalai Lama, HH Karmapa, HH Penor Rinpoche, HH Lati Rinpoche, HH Khen Tsephel Rinpoche, HH Ribur Rinpoche, HH Ven Choden Rinpoche, HH Khen Lobsang Tharchin, Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche, Geshe Michael Roach, Lama Christie McNally, Dr. Alan Wallace, Dr. Jose Cabezon, Dr. Robert Thurman, Ven. Robina Courtin and many other amazing Teachers like Alan Watts, Ram Dass, Jean Houston, Ammachi, Jesus, Gandhi, Patanjali, Je Tsongkapa, HH Mom, HH Dad, HH Sister, HH Brother, HH Friends and HH Enemies alike.

Benjamin Worden has taken Several Unsurpassed Highest Yoga initiations, Bodhisattva, Refuge and Lifetime Layman’s Vows. He has successfully completed a three-month Vajrasattva purification retreat and several month long retreats, completed a BA in Religious Studies at UCSB, intensively studied the ACI, Bok Jinpa, and Tantric courses at Diamond Mountain University and several YSI and THY courses.

He served the first THY tour, taught Bok Jinpa and other Dharma Classes, recorded and archived hundreds of WorldView online video courses, pioneered live streaming WorldView/DMU video, designed and created Two as One, Tibetan Book of Meditation websites, logos, flyers and shirts for DCI, DMU and many WorldView events.

Benjamin loves doing various design work, playing guitar (lead guitarist for the Rock Star Lamas), photography, poetry, surfing, discussing happiness, compassion, wisdom and loves clarifying and making enlightenment practical for everyone. And, he wishes you the best life ever.

Food, sex, love, music, art and enlightenment are just a few of the topics he enjoys discussing. If you have any questions, suggestions or gratitude, please feel free to email: benkapa(at)gmail.com.
